Consumers Beware of Deceptive

Helmets
Some important issues to consider
BEFORE your helmet purchase:
Is this a "new" helmet? Refurbished? Surplus that has been modified?
Has the shell composite passed all safety tests?
Are the Impact test results readily available?
Do the visors, impact liner & chin strap meet industry standard
with supporting test results?
There are Helicopter
Helmet suppliers that sell "cloned",
in-house, imitation Helicopter Helmets such as the SPH-4B
model. These Helmets may not be originally manufactured
by Gentex Corporation, may not have an OEM Crash Rating
and are being "passed off" as an approved and safe
Helmet as specified in the ALSE Handbook for an OEM SP4B Helmet.
